Michigan Council of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry

Championing Mental Health for Michigan's Children and Families

MCCAP unites child and adolescent psychiatry professionals across Michigan to advance care, education, and advocacy for the young people who need it most.

Our mission

A community built on compassion and clinical excellence

The Michigan Council of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (MCCAP) is the state chapter of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. We bring together psychiatrists, clinicians, and allied professionals dedicated to improving the mental health and well-being of children and adolescents throughout Michigan.

Through education, advocacy, and professional development, we equip our members to deliver the highest standard of care — and to shape the policies that affect the families we serve.
